What do you do with a pet that thinks it owns the house but, refuses to pay the mortgage?

Got a cat that jumps on the kitchen counter whenever you leave the room? Do you come home to find your expensive new couch covered in dog hair? What if you could post a guard to chase your kitty or pup out of those off limits areas 24 / 7? That is exactly what the Sound Barrier does. You simply put the small ultrasonic transmitter collar on your dog or cat, then place the receiver unit wherever you do not wish your pet to roam. When your pet enters the area the receiver unit sets off an audible alarm, much like a smoke detector chasing your pet out.

The Sound Barrier's Receiver may be placed on counters, by doors, bed, couch, trash can or anywhere that is "off limits" to your pets. The Light weight electronic pet collar sends an ultrasonic signal that triggers a loud sonic blast at the receiver unit when the pet approaches. Dogs and cats are easily trained to Stay Away!

The receiver range is adjustable from 1 to 30 feet. Additional receivers may be added to protect multiple areas. Additional transmitter collars may be added to contain as many pets as you like. This ultrasonic system is superior to cheaper infrared devices because it allows people to come and go without triggering the alarm. The sonic alarm is triggered only by your pet's individual electronic transmitting collar.

WHY USE AUDIBLE SOUND? Many people are under the impression that ultrasonic sound works better for training dogs and cats. After all, our pets are supposed to hear higher pitched sounds that humans, right? Actually, dogs and cats hear only slightly higher pitched sounds that you and I. And just like you and I, the perceived volume is greatly attenuated the higher in pitch the sound becomes. The result is that high frequency sound does not work well to deter negative behavior in animals. Audible sound works much better. So, does that mean the Sound Barrier will bug you every time your pet thinks he can break the rules at 3 in the morning? Actually, virtually all our pet owners report that after a short training period their pets learn to stay out and the audible alarm is rarely heard thereafter.

System includes 1 Sound Barrier Receiver and 1 Pet Collar Transmitter. Extra transmitters and receivers may be ordered below. Transmitter comes with lithium battery included. 9 volt battery required for receiver.
