As barking persists the Terminator 2’s processor automatically increases the stimuli level until your dog decides he has had enough. HOW IT WORKS: The Terminator 2 advanced anti bark collar uses a microphone to precisely detect your dog’s barking. After the first bark, the electronic collar emits a short, warning tone stimulus. If the dog barks a second time within 30 seconds, a second, more intense is emitted along with a mild shock. If the dog barks yet again within the next 30 seconds, a still more intense tone and shock are administered. This pattern of increasing tone and shock anti barking stimulus repeats through 5 levels. If the dog persists in barking, the output remains at the most intense sound and shock levels until the animal stays quiet for at least 30 seconds. The Terminator 2 will then reset itself to level one.
Combining the use of sound and shock quickly gets your dog’s attention and makes a lasting mental impression. This leads to the shortest anti bark training time possible. Use of the progressively increasing stimuli maximizes both the effectiveness of the bark collar and its humane use because the mild initial stimulus will remind your pup of the more sever correction to come if he chooses to persist with his nuisance barking behavior.
ADVANCED BARK SENSING:The Terminator 2’s microphone feeds the sound of your dog’s bark to a computer chip. This chip, much like your ear, is able to automatically tell the difference between dog barking and other noises in the environment. This computer controlled bark sensing provides nearly 100% accuracy in sensing your dog’s barking. Other bark control manufacturers that claim to have sonic plus vibration sensing do not get as reliable a result as the Terminator 2’s “Sure Sense” triggering system.
The Terminator 2 electronic no bark collar operates on a single 6 volt alkaline battery that will last up to 3 months. The Super Hush Puppy is small and light weight. It weighs only 1.5 ounces including the battery and may be used by dogs weighing 5 – 150 lbs.
